    I would recommend this lovely village property. The setting is forest and pasture land and we were fortunate to dine with a mix of locals and guests. The room was roomy and comfortable. Our contact person was helpful by showing us how to operate everything. Seems like a well used and loved setting for a good meal and restful night.

    Hadrian’s Wall walking holiday

    Friendly… helpful.,,,,,, everyone tries hard. Good value. Lovely area. Nice beer garden on a beautiful evening.! What more could you wish for.!

    Comfortable break.

    Country Inn and restaurant 20 minutes drive from Hexham, but well situated for anyone doing Hadrian's Wall. The room was excellent, confortable bed and sofa. And unusually easy to get radios 3 and 4 on the TV. Supper menu was un complicated but well cooked, wine list from the respected Corney & Barrow. Wide choice for breakfast (but no kippers).
