    I enjoyed my stay! And I may book into the Lodge next time I go to the Bay. The price is right!

    Location is great! Service and staff were pleasant and the motel is one of the most affordable in Batemans Bay. It is in a great spot with beautiful river scenery immediately behind it, as well as very close in front. The motel restaurant is good and was busy with happy families while I was there. This motel is literally only 5 minutes walk to Woolworths and 3 other cafes/restaurants. And it's only a few minutes further to the famous Boatshed fish and chips shop!

    The rooms are showing just a few little signs of wear (such as slightly peeling paint on the window frames and a bare patch inside the front door where the door lock had been replaced) - although the suite was still neat and comfortable. The daily cleaning service is good-ish rather than great. They were working hard during full occupancy in the school holidays. The tea cups on the refreshment tray were not properly washed on one day of my stay and were also not dried. It only took me a minute to fix that. The toilet was cleaned each day - but it was still obvious to me that the cleaner was not brushing all the way down into the S-bend.
