Awesome
It is literally directly opposite the beach, you can walk to everything, breakfast at fish heads restaurant is massive portions , facilities basic 70’s style but awesome shower pressure , clean, comfortable beds
The issue is the noise of pubs & clubs, so easy fixed if you take ear plugs, you be fine.

Not very impressed

Incredible location. Spotlessly clean. The staff are welcoming, happy to help, and go above and beyond.
It didn't bother me, but this is located in a nightlife precinct, so it is noisy. Not a bad thing for me personally though. Only thing I could possibly fault is no laundry on site. So if that's important, check for Laundromat nearby.

Great location but will not stay here again.
The location was terrific. Right on the beach and close to everything.
Super noisy, the motel has a back lane that has restaurants in it so it is very busy and noisy and the garbage trucks came both mornings, several times in fact not just once, from about 5am onwards. The rooms are not quiet, the windows were closed but the noise we heard was like all windows were open ie. they must not seal properly. The published photos are quite deceiving and a bit cheeky, the rooms look so generous and lovely but are actually not quite like that in real life. The photos are of the room but, the way they are taken, the lighting used and the staging give it a lot more appealing aesthetic and spacious feeling then it actually is. The room was so noisy, we could hear people talking till all hours of the night and could hear the people next to us too. It wasn't pleasant.
