Emperor Trajan would say - this host wants nothing but the happiness of the guests
The Apartment has an amazing location. From the bedroom you have a direct view to the Maria Maggiore tower. At the evening it shines and it looks special. You don't want to close the curtains. And this is only the start. To the south, in the distance you can see the Egyptian obelisk and the two bell towers of another papal basilica - San Giovanni in Laterano. To the west, just on the street, you see the near 36m high, 1000y old, Capocci tower (and on the other side of the street is another 800y old tower - Graziani). But the super view comes at the far distance, where you can see the gorgeous monument of Vittorio Emanuele. At sunset this view is just incredible. And if you go to the west corner of the huge balcony, you can see a little part of the top level of the Colosseum. Wait, that's not all - in front of the apartment there is the beautiful Terme di Traiano Park. It is the main living area of many wild green parrots (yes, parrots). When you drink your morning coffee you could see a flock of green parrots, flying around the balcony, like you are on a safari. The area is also full with nice bakeries and places for lunch and dinner. You are at 15min walking to the Termini rail station where you have all kind of transportation to both main airports. All major attractions are at max 25min bus ride. The Colosseum and the Roman Forum are at 10mins walking. Only the Vatican is at 35mins with the bus. The elevator is small (3 person, or 2 with luggage) but it is pretty quick. The rooms are spacious (we were 5 people and had enough space). The neighborhood is pretty quite at the evening. The shower works well, no matter that you are at the top level of the building. And there were a few nice surprises waiting for us in the fridge. A very pleasant accommodation and a super happy stay for us. We came, we enjoy, we will came back again.
One super little issue - many of the recycling trash bins for glass and plastic, on the streets, are locked (need some triangle key). And we had to walk around to find some, which is not locked. My advice is to ask the host about that on the first day.

Excellent location, less than an hours walk from the major sights, access to roof area is excellent bonus giving you a place to hang out and relax after a busy day, lots of nice places to eat and decent supermarket down by the Basilica.

Overall
Overall, it's great and the service provided to the staff is excellent.
Overall, it's great, but due to the top floor, the water pressure for bathing is unstable, the water flow is small, the temperature fluctuates between hot and cold, and the drainage is not smooth either

Exceptional
The location of the property was amazing. The terrace was like a bonus. Owners were kind and good people, always were on tuch with us to see if we needed anything. Overall, it was great ( just a little oldish)
