  The host is very welcoming and even sent a taxi guy to get us from where we were. The house keeper is so decent and organized, and makes really great food. The aesthetics are so nice and you get an awesome beach view. The environment is always clean, the lawns are spacious and security is also very good. The private pool puts the icing on the cake. Would definitely recommend.

  We did not want to leave

  Immediately after booking, I was contacted by the owner who introduced themselves and the services that would be provided. Any questions we had were answered thoroughly and promptly. We made late changes to our reservation which were accommodated without any fuss and a few days before our arrival, we were provided with detailed instructions that were easy to follow and brought us right to the main entrance. As the gates opened, we couldn't believe our eyes. The grounds were beautifully landscaped with mature palm trees and other trees like the Baobab and Neem trees that the continent is famous for. Just stunning and the views from the cottage/villa were sublime. Cora the housekeeper met us on arrival and gave us a warm welcome, making us feel at home instantly. We were wowed again when we saw the villa from the outside, but on entering we realised we had found a real gem. Gorgeous decor and furnishings. Literally a home from home, with everything you'd need to have a perfect stay. Mosquito's have a passion for me, but with mosquito zapping plugins, provided and a net over the bed, I was spared. The villa has a roof terrace, accessible from the master bedroom, with a day bed and from there it was a perfect spot to survey the grounds, beach and ocean. We would listen to the ocean and enjoy the wellness and calm that the natural environment provided, whilst drinking our morning coffee. It is so hard to express how much we loved this place! Kikambala Beach was long with white sands and when the tide was out, it was possible to venture out onto the reef and explore the sea life visible. We found a fantastic eco bar - Nature Jambo Beach - Driftwood, serving drinks and local cuisine, accessible when the tide was low/out, every 6 hours. We visited on several occasions and enjoyed our time spent there immensely. Great hospitality and great energy. We have every intention of returning to The Beach Haven, because it exceeded our expectations.
