  The staff were so lovely and friendly, the views were amazing from our rooms and the small complimentary breakfast was very tasty and thoughtful! I would highly recommend staying here for a quiet, relaxing atmosphere 😊

  The only issue was that our TV didn't work, but nonetheless we wouldn't have used it much anyways.

  Tranquilo, relajante, idilico

  Se trata de un hotel familiar y con muy poquitas habitaciones. Nuestra habitacion tenia vistas a la playa y la verdad era un lujo, Es un sitio precioso, con acceso directo a la playa y a pesar de que cuando lo reserve no aparecia nada de desayuno incluido, luego si que nos preparaban cada dia una bandeja con bolleria, fruta, kefir, etc, cada dia una cosa diferente, lo cual lo hacia increible, poder tomarte un pequeño desayuno en la terraza viendo el mar, antes de salir a visitar o bajar a la playa. El personal es muy amable y te facilitan todo lo que te necesites.

  El unico inconveniente es que a pesar de que solamente esta a 7 km de Split, la carretera que une Podstrana con Split tiene mucho trafico. En mi caso alquilamos una moto lo cual suplia este problema, pero reconozco que si vas en coche y quieres ir y venir de Split te puedes tirar mucho rato en la carretera. Otra cosa que me sorprendio, aunque me di cuenta que es practica habitual es que no te cobran con tarjeta, por lo que deberás llevar efectivo, no solo para el hotel, sino para restaurantes o lugares de ocio.

  The location close to the beach was great, and some of the staff were kind and helpful. However, the

  Our stay at Beach Hotel Split was an absolute nightmare. The biggest issue was that the hotel insisted we pay the entire stay in cash, something that was never clearly disclosed when we booked. We only received a private message the day before check-in demanding cash payment. This put us in an extremely difficult position. Coming from Sweden, we had not planned to withdraw such a large amount of cash at short notice. After withdrawing the money, our bank blocked our card as a security measure, leaving us effectively cashless for the rest of our trip. The way this was handled felt completely unacceptable and highly suspicious. If a property requires payment in cash, that must be made absolutely clear before guests book—not sprung on them privately the day before arrival. The insistence on a large cash payment also raised serious concerns for us about why payment could not be made by card and whether the transaction would be properly recorded and handled for tax purposes. We cannot say what the reason was, but the whole arrangement made us very uncomfortable. On top of this, the facilities were extremely disappointing. There was no kitchen and not even a convenient washroom near reception. Overall, the experience was stressful, poorly communicated, and far below what we expected. I would strongly advise future guests to confirm the payment method, whether they will receive proper documentation or a receipt, and all available facilities in writing before booking. We certainly would not stay here again.
