The beach house is cozy and nicely laid out, with magical fireflies in the garden at night. However, it is simply too small for four adults. The sleeping mezzanine (vide) has a very low ceiling, making it impossible to stand upright. It would be perfect for a family with two adults and two children instead. Pros & Amenities Kitchen: Fully equipped with a large fridge, perfect for self-catering. Sleeping & View: Equipped with mosquito nets and offers a lovely sea view. Dining: You can cook your own meals, but if you let the hosts know in time, they can also prepare meals for you. Location & Surroundings The Beach: Villagers also use the sunbeds on the beach, but we didn't find this bothering at all. Swimming: The sea right in front was too rough for swimming during our stay, so you have to head outside the village for calmer waters. Having our own tuk-tuk made getting around super easy. The blowhole was amazing. You can also buy a dayticket at the wellness&beach resort for swimmingpool and calm waters.
There is nothing within walking distance, Connectivity: The Wi-Fi is very poor, and even personal 4G/5G mobile reception is weak.

Eigen strand, top huisje.. fantastisch!!
Super mooi en nieuw huisje. Perfect voor een gezin met twee kinderen. Schoon en op één unieke locatie. 20 min met tuktuk vanaf Herikitya Beach. De zee op tien meter van je huisje. En de eigenaar is ontzettend aardig!!
Alles was echt super.

Superervaring
Indien je van rust en authenticiteit houdt, dan is dit een zeer mooie plek! Weinig of geen toeristen. Prachtig verlaten strand. Een supersympathieke ontvangst. Zeer behulpzaam. Het eten wordt bereid met verse producten door 'mama' en eerlijk, dit waren de beste maaltijden die ik hier heb gegeten. Verwacht géén luxe. De kamer is zeker proper en sfeervol ingericht. Welkom in het échte Sri Lanka.
Dit verblijf is niet voor iedereen geschikt, denk ik. Enkel voor mensen die houden van eenvoud en puurheid. Toen ik aankwam, dacht ik:'Oei', maar die gedachte maakte snel plaats voor een gevoel van rust en tevredenheid.

Het beste van Sri Lanka. Twee jaar geweest en we komen terug.
De locatie. Het mooiste stuk strand dat we ooit hebben gezien.
Niets. Prijs kwaliteit ongeëvenaard.
