Upon arrival, we noticed a strong musty odor. While the air conditioning unit technically turns on and cools, it leaks heavily and drips water directly inside the main wall, causing severe dampness, peeling paint, and visible water damage. To protect our children's health, we had to keep one bedroom strictly closed and avoid the affected wall area entirely. The host did acknowledge the moisture and structural dampness issues in our official chat (mentioning a planned full renovation in October), but completely refused a fair partial refund. Instead of offering a professional solution, the host became aggressive and told us, "You can leave the place if you are unsatisfied." As a loyal, long-term customer of Booking.com, this has been a deeply frustrating experience. All photo evidence, our video, and the complete chat history proving the water leakage and the host's admissions have been submitted to customer support [Booking.com Customer Service]. Future guests should strictly avoid this apartment until the leaking AC and structural water damage are fully repaired.
