  Really amazing loved it so much and if I go back to port Douglas I would absolutely stay again and recommend it to anyon

  I loved the location and how easy it was to get to everything. I loved the pools and how it was set up and how welcoming the apartment felt

  This is silly but as someone with allergies I hated that I had to wipe the bed heads in the room as it was covered in dust and would fall on me whilst I was sleeping and cause me to sneeze

  Location and size. Very easy to walk everywhere - shops and beach were very close. The apartment was larger than expected and the veranda was big too.

  No exhaust fans in the bathrooms and I think it’s time for new couches, they were small and the cushions are old.

  Good location but tired facilities

  Has a good position near the beach and town centre restaurants. It also has good underground parking.

  The apartment was tired and dated. The second bedroom had exceptionally poor en-suite facilities - the handbasin was very small, the type normally found in a toilet unit.

  Hygiene and Safety Standards not met for Accommodation

  This property was a major disappointment I have travelled a lot throughout my life staying at 5 star properties right down to backpackers the only two decent things were the pool area and the washing machine and dryer worked.

  Our room (Room 2) should not be allowed in the rental pool due to safety issues and hygiene, even though described as budget accommodation it should meet certain standards. Firstly I understand that these apartments are owned privately so when it comes to repairs most likely it's up to the owners but there should be a standard example a power point should not be damaged that could cause harm, fire or death to a customer (see photo of crack on power point) and broken bathroom doors hanging off. The hygiene matter of this apartment is so poor this apartment needs a good clean and if the cleaners cannot do their job properly they should be let go and re hire. The tiles were not cleaned prior to staying and seems like they never get clean based on the dirt showing up on the white tiles, the dust everywhere, the glass coffee tables had not been cleaned prior to staying so we could see previous guest glass marks and fingerprints, the showers had not been cleaned as the level.or dust on a tile step within the shower would have been eliminated if the cleaners had turned on the water and splashed it about and I love the idea (being sarcastic) that they use a lot of Air wick air refreshers to try to get rid of a mould / damp like smell, we had to turn these air refreshers off due to the strong smell and one of our family members having a reaction which led to them sneezing and having a migraine and within 10 minutes of the air fresheners being turned off the mould / damp smell came back which we had to live with for our stay.Even a simple thing the sink plug should have be replaced as so much black mould on it (see photo). I believe the staff know the issue.of this apartment as when leaving and handing back the keys most accommodation would say something like "did you have a nice stay" but in this case the staff member just said "thank you" as she does not want to be told the truth.
