  We enjoyed that this is a family bach, not a purpose built short stay. It's little, it's quirky and it's cosy. Beds are comfortable, there is a heat pump, the views are spectacular - perfect. Tim and co are great hosts who were very responsive when we had a snag. Being able to bring our dog was a bonus and much appreciated.

  Cosy bach escape

  Fab location and was a lovely cosy bach stay by the beach. Great halfway point to meet family. Comfy beds and super warm with heat pump and electric blankets. Views and walks around were perfect, lots of things nearby despite being remote, walks down to the yellow eyed penguins and baby seals near Moeraki and awesome lunch at Moeraki tavern. Exploring Oamaru steam punk precinct and seeing little blue penguins was a highlight. Was also just nice to relax with a book and glass of wine. Would definitely stay again.

  Bathroom could do with a deep clean some as there was some moss and mould, understand its a holiday bach but bathroom was super basic. The sleepout was fine and had a heater but the sliding door needs to be fixed as it was stuck often and difficult to open and close, and took ages to get it to lock. Set up could sleep 6 but a very small kitchen/living would be a tight squeeze 3 adults was ok, if summer lots of outdoor deck space for extra people.

  Very relaxing few days loved the location Bach was Cosy & comfortable. Didn't play any but loved the dvd collection,games & book selection. Also best fish and chips at the "coast Cafe in Kakanui. Thank you for allowing our dog children to stay with us.

  Nothing really it was exactly as described in the most amazing location

  Great location

  Great location. Fantastic views of the beach. It had everything we needed with plenty of space for the dogs to run around outside. Genuine Kiwi bach.

  Best little house with big character

  We have really enjoyed our stay at your place. It's beautiful, warm and very comfortable. Everything we needed. Beautiful spot. Unfortunately the weather was not good but we were safe, warm and happy in your comfortable house. We would love to come back again.
