Schöne Lage, aber nicht gut gepflegt
Die Wohnung liegt sehr schön direkt am Strand von Edinburgh. Der Bus ins Zentrum ist gut zu erreichen. In unmittelbarer Nähe gibt es einen coop, ein Café und Restaurants. Der Parkplatz direkt am Haus ist geräumig und das Auto steht dort sicher. Das Wohnzimmer ist sehr groß, aber eher leer und wenig gemütlich. Die Küche enthält viel Ausstattung, aber einige Geräte sind nur mit Vorsicht zu gebrauchen (Backofen, Toaster).
Die Wohnung war nur oberflächlich gesäubert worden vor unserer Ankunft. Oberflächen waren schmierig, das Geschirr in den Schränken nur halb sauber, der Boden teilweise nicht gefegt. Der Vermieter bot uns von sich aus an, die Kosten für eine Nacht zu erstatten, doch das Geld kam nie bei uns an. In der Hauptsaison ist der Preis sehr hoch.

Posizione fronte mare meravigliosa. Ristoranti pub e supermercati nelle vicinanze, e fermata dell' autobus per princess street. La casa è estremamente accogliente e ben equipaggiata.

Very comfortable and clean, ideal location. Would highly recommend
Very clean and well equipped. Great view of the sea and comfortable living area. Close to Edinburgh City by bus and good bus timetable, 24hrs a day. Good local shops and cafes along the beach. Very prompt reply to enquiries made during our stay with owners of apartment. Free private off road parking. Would highly recommend and definitely stay again if visiting Scotland

Had a great weekend at this lovely apartment by the beach
Great location overlooking the beach. Spacious, well equipped apartment in a quiet apartment block. Good selection of cafes, restaurants, bars & shops nearby. Car park space on site and just a short walk to bus stop on Portobello High Street with regular buses to Edinburgh.
Nothing major but just a few wonky door handles (especially bathroom) and a couple of things need tightening (shower head holder and toilet seat).
