  The photos shown are nothing like what we found. I have seen better student accommodation.

  The location was good once we found the property, which was difficult to find. from the instructions provided.

  We inspected the property on arrival and decided it was so bad we would find accommodation elsewhere. "Beautiful apartment " was a misrepresentation. It needed a major makeover. It was worn and tired looking, the lounge had no curtains or blinds, the furniture had seen better days and there was a sewage smell in the toilet/ shower room. The towels were worn and thin. The entrance was up steel stairs from an unsafe garbage alley. We are 78 and could not face the difficult access in the dark.

  Not as Described — Access, Cleanliness, and Plumbing Problems Throughout

  Location proximity to local shops. Well ventilated rooms with lot of natural air and light coming in.

  Based on the listing photos, we were really looking forward to spending our two-week stay at this property. Unfortunately, the experience fell well short of expectations. Misrepresented ground-floor access: Due to a health condition, we have difficulty carrying heavy items up stairs. We specifically confirmed with the property beforehand that it was on the ground floor and were told this was the case. On arrival, we found we actually had to climb a steep set of metal stairs to reach the unit. Poor cleanliness: The carpets, sofa cushions, and chair cushions were visibly stained and soiled. Faulty drainage system: The plumbing throughout the property is in very poor condition. The kitchen sink, washing machine, and dishwasher all share the same drain line, so whenever the washing machine or dishwasher is running its drain cycle, water backs up and rises into the kitchen sink — making the sink unusable at those times. Bathroom drainage: The shower drains extremely slowly, even at the lowest water flow setting, so you end up standing in a pool of dirty water while bathing. Inconsistent water temperature: The shower temperature would fluctuate wildly mid-use, swinging between freezing cold and scalding hot, even after being properly adjusted. I was actually burned on one occasion, leaving my skin red and irritated for some time afterward. Poor handling of complaints: When we reported the kitchen and bathroom drainage issues, we were asked to pick which one was the priority, and were told that since the water wasn't overflowing, it wasn't a major concern. After repeated follow-ups, a plumber was sent out and explained that the flat's plumbing was poorly designed, with the drain positioned higher than the rest of the house — requiring a macerator pump that doesn't work effectively. They replaced the pump, but the problem persisted. Persistent odor: The bathroom had a lingering bad smell at all times, even with the window open and the extractor fan running.

  Perfectly fine for a couple of nights but if you don't like Ts and Cs beware.

  Well equipped, very helpful and friendly staff (by Whatsapp) with very clear instructions for how to enter, very much appreciated the car parking space, the flat was clean.

  It is quite personal but the whole family felt as if we were in student accommodation - everything was present and correct but it lacked soul and the furniture is quite tired and not very nice! This feeling was exacerbated by having to sign up to a rental agreement (for 2 nights!) involving a deposit and reading the terms and conditions...which meant that I was quite edgy when we arrived and spent a good half an hour photographing and detailing all the defaults and damage that was already there (which turned out to be quite a lot). This made me feel a lot less like I was on holiday and more like we were moving into the accommodation. I did not appreciate this.
