    Very beautiful property that would benefit from an anti slip surface in the bathroom and shower

    The restoration of the property was beautifully and tastefully done including the furnishing of the property. The bed was very comfortable and the property was very clean for the most part. Parking was a bit tricky but we were always able to park close to the house.

    The bathroom was a major issue. Beautifully refurbished but on a practical level was incredibly slippery both in the shower and on the floor generally. Also it was downstairs and made nightime visits to the loo inconvenient. The house was clean but not deep cleaned e.g. other people's rubbish had not been cleaned away; a random sock in the bedside drawer, tags from purchases in a cubby where the dustpan and brush were stored and most noticeably when we emptied the black bag from the kitchen bin at the end of the week's stay there was quite a lot of rubbish underneath the bag at the bottom of the bin. some information about the heating system and the range cooker would have been very useful as we had to google how to light the hob.

    Beautiful cottage in a beautiful location.

    Absolutely stunning, so pretty, quaint and classic on the outside and modern and beautifully decorated on the inside. My friends and I visited Download festival a couple of weekends ago, and as much as we love metal music, we do not love camping nor lack of sleep or hot showers, I found this gorgeous place half hour away from Donington Park and so glad I did because it was a lovely stay, Steve was so helpful and clearly instructed how to get to the property and provided everything we needed! Thanks again, we will definitely be back if we have another Download weekend🤘🏼

    Only the fact the spiders are fond of coming in!
