House has everything you need, including a decent pub at the end of the road, and communication with owners is very good
Location was ideal for a wedding nearby, with good road connections. There is a good pub that serves food approx 3-5 mins walk away and shops are located approx 5-10 mins drive away, yet the house feels reasonably quiet. The house is well equipped with most items required if you wanted to stay at home and cook. There was plenty of wardrobe space. There was parking for two cars and there is a reasonable size garden for children to play in if necessary. communication with the owners was very good.
There was only one set of keys and as we were two families this could have proved difficult, although we managed to get around this by leaving the keys in the key safe located on an external wall. There is no en-suite, and although the property has two bathrooms, one is located downstairs. The sofas were a little uncomfortable, particularly around the arms, which seem to lack any real padding. There were no spare toilet rolls provided

Great value at a great location with spacious interior.
Fantastic location, peaceful and agreeable neighbourhood, lovely local walks and easy access to the local villages/town. Spacious house with a decent kitchen and living areas. Great communication from our hosts and useful info in the guide. Good idea to give direct feedback on minor issues as part of the stay.
We shouldn't complain about the sun, but the curtains are poor so in the summer when the skies are clear the rooms are bright from dawn. Bring an eye mask, if you like to sleep in and a bright room wakes you up, until this is addressed.

Good but dated property in a good location offering good value for money.
Good location for our short golf tour.
The property is dated and would benefit from upgrades. Having said that, it is very comfortable.

Clean, comfortable, convenient and nice house.
A good quiet place to stay. Near the excellent Windmill pub and not far from Wetherby. Perfect situation for us.
Blackout curtains in the main bedrooms would have been nice, and a handrail on the fairly steep stairs for safety.
