    Good location couldn’t overcome dirty pool, broken gear, and poor maintenance overall.

    - Good location for exploring the area. - The house has potential for a good family stay, with space for a large group. - The host addressed the kitchen issue: After we reported the dirty pans and insufficient silverware, the host sent us a new set of pans and silverware. We appreciated that response. Unfortunately, the positive aspects were overshadowed by several cleanliness and maintenance issues that affected our stay.

    Cleanliness and maintenance were major problems throughout our stay. - Pool: The pool remained dirty despite our complaints and the host confirming that the cleaning team had visited. We never felt comfortable letting the kids swim, so we didn’t use the pool at all, even though it was one of the main reasons we booked this property. - Outdoor area: The grass was overgrown, and there were numerous cigar butts and bottle caps scattered around the yard and pool area. With 7 children in our group, this was particularly concerning. - Mosquitoes: There were lots of mosquitoes around the property, making it difficult to comfortably enjoy the outdoor spaces. - Cockroaches: We found cockroaches inside the house, which was unacceptable. - Air conditioning: The split AC units were extremely dirty and appeared poorly maintained. - Beach equipment and bicycles: The equipment provided for guests was in such poor condition that we couldn’t use it. This was another disappointment, as we expected to be able to enjoy these amenities during our stay. - Pool cleaning equipment: The pool net was also in such bad shape that cleaning the pool ourselves wasn’t a realistic option. We contacted the host during our stay and provided pictures of several issues. To be fair, the host did address the kitchen problem by sending new pans and silverware, but the other concerns remained unresolved. For a property advertised with a heated pool and outdoor amenities, the overall condition fell well below our expectations. We booked this home for a family stay with children, but the poor cleanliness and maintenance prevented us from enjoying several of the features we had specifically looked forward to.
