    Really cute and well maintained property, but it could use some upgrades/fixes to make it feel more comfortable and

    It is a beautiful property, clean and well maintained. In the daylight hours both the house and location in the woods are really cute and inviting.

    We arrived later in the evening and it was really dark, and the property is not well lit on the outside so we had a hard time figuring out if we were in the right place and had to message the owner so they could look at their camera and confirm. No lights were left on inside either, and the front door was left unlocked which was a bit unsettling given how dark it was. I am surprised they don’t use a key pad or other type of lock where a code could be provided for access. We were left a key inside the house, but the front door was really tricky to lock. We got it to lock once, but after that we weren’t able to lock it from the inside or outside and so we ended up leaving the property a night early. While it was a really cute place we felt uncomfortable and not terribly safe. Additionally, we had the upstairs suite rented and there was no door to the space, only a curtain. There wasn’t anyone else in the house but it just felt weird. The only other thing is that this was advertised as a bed and breakfast, but the breakfast was just a loaf of bread, a couple hard boiled eggs, and a yogurt that were in the fridge. We didn’t really care because we left pretty early to go on our hike and wouldn’t have had time for breakfast anyway, but I think that is a bit misleading when most bed and breakfasts I have been to and heard of provide warms meals. Again, it wasn’t anything we were upset by but it is something people should be aware of when renting.

    very quaint cabin/ home where I met a friend halfway. Very comfortable space with plenty of room for sleep and visiting for us. Owner was very responsive and friendly. Very clean. Slept well. Sweet touch of bread/ eggs/ yogurt in room for breakfast the next day. Quiet.

    Comfortable and peaceful, amid the trees

    Beautiful and well-equipped. The setting was peaceful, amid the trees and with nice flowers, and the home was pretty and clean. The bed was extremely comfortable, the tub and bath salts great for a soak, and the little porch pleasant for sitting and sipping a hot beverage. The drink and snack drawer was a thoughtful touch. The property was a short drive from the highway and easily accessible. The spa/gym in another building looked nice, though we didn’t use it.
