  10/10 – The best of both worlds My daughter and I have absolutely loved staying here. Think quaint little countryside chalet/cottage, with a really clever use of space. My favourite part is opening the doors in the morning and looking over the pond towards the fields and the cows. It’s incredibly peaceful and such a lovely contrast after spending the day in busy Amsterdam. The owners live adjoining the property, but completely leave you to yourselves while being on hand if you need them. They’ve been extremely welcoming and helpful, and we’ve felt very private and comfortable. The location has actually become part of what we’ve enjoyed. The walk to the bus looks a little daunting on Google Maps the first time, but do it once and it suddenly becomes easy. It’s a beautiful countryside walk and, strangely, seems to get shorter every time you do it! After a long day walking around Amsterdam, we sometimes treated ourselves to an Uber home instead, generally around €25–€30. If you want to spend your days exploring Amsterdam, visit a museum, have a lovely meal and then come home to peace, countryside and cows, it’s rather special. We paid considerably less than we would have to stay centrally, so even allowing for the occasional Uber, we thought it was excellent value. For us, it really has been the best of both worlds. We would happily stay here again. 10/10.

  The perfect balance between the excitement of Amsterdam and the peaceful calm of Waterland, made eve

  The cottage is a true haven of peace, full of charm and ideally located to alternate between exploring the bustling capital and enjoying the serenity of Waterland. Our hosts were lovely, extremely welcoming, and attentive to our every need from start to finish.

  Çok güzel tekrar gidersem tekrar kalmak isterim

  Tatil evi çok güzeldi. Huzurlu sesiz temiz ve özenle döşenmişti. Çok zevkli düzenlenmişti. Çok beğendik . Akşam bahçede birşeyler içmek ve huzuru hissetmek harikaydı . Çocuklarım ve biz çok beğendik. Sabah kahvaltı için yakındaki çiftliklerden yumurta süt Vb alabiliyorsunuz. Ev sahipleri çok tatlı sizinle çok güzel ilgileniyorlar. Kızlarım evimizin yan tarafındaki dondurmaları çok beğendi. Herşey için teşekkür ediyoruz 😊

  Beğenmediğim bir yanı yoktu. Ama Amsterdam merkeze gitmek yürüyerek biraz zaman alabiliyor ama zevkli bir yürüyüş. Amsterdam’ın gezilecek köylerine araçla 20 dk.

  Agréable séjour à la campagne toute proche d’Amsterdam.

  Le calme du site, le cadre et l’originalité du gîte.

  Peut-être un peu juste pour 4 personnes, c’est très bien pour y dormir et pour le PDJ ; pour les repas, il faut manger sur la table extérieure, il n’y a qu’une petite table de salon à l’intérieur.
