Very comfortable, modern, quirky, reasonably priced option in Aulla
A delightfully different, even unusual, place to stay in Aulla. Bed & Bike is ultra-modern, located above a large bicycle showroom a bit outside of central Aulla. The rooms are very large, modern, well-equipped suites, with full kitchens, a large sitting area, very large bedroom, excellent large bathroom and fabulous shower. The kitchen table has a basket of snacks. The refrigerator is stocked with juice and yoghurt that are part of the next morning's breakfast; the kind and helpful host explained that by 7:30 in the morning, I would find the remainder of breakfast - - baked goods, cheese, meat, eggs, etc., on a tray outside of my door. This is an excellent spot, obviously for bicycle travelers but also for Via Francigena pilgrims and anyone else on outdoor-focused travel.
The walk to central Aulla is not far, but is on unpleasantly busy streets at least partly without any sidewalks. This is not particularly a problem, as Aulla itself, while nice, is not a town full of historical or cultural monuments to visit. There is a nearby bar and restaurant to spare you of the walk to town.

Grosse, moderne und komfortable Wohnung. Ausgiebiges, unseren Wünschen angepasstes Frühstück. Sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Gastgeber. Man kann es nicht besser machen: einfach perfekt.

L'alloggio è davvero spazioso, silenzioso, pulito. Arredamento impeccabile. Elisabetta, suo marito e le persone che li aiutano sono adorabili. La colazione merita un capitolo a parte: non mi è mai capitato un tale trattamento ...ma non voglio rovinare la sorpresa a chi alloggerà. Grazie!
