    Excellent

    Location was very good. It was a nice touch providing a welcome bottle of Prosecco which my wife enjoyed. No beer though LOL.

    Lovely break for the three of us with our dogs.

    Great location and easy to walk out from. Cottage was well stocked and heating worked well. Kitchen was clean and well stocked. Beds were comfy.

    Duvet on double bed could have been bigger and better. Clearer instructions that we needed to turn on the boiler would have been helpful. Parking was tight on the road.

    Beech cottage

    loved the property, such a lovely place. quiet, quaint and well maintained. very clean and well presented, the owner very accommodating and let us leave our bags at the property as we arrived very early due to having car troubles we had to arrange a Taxi to take us.

    without a car it's quite a walk into Matlock around 15 minutes and around 20 - 25 back to the cottage due to the area being hilly.

    Lovely cottage in a good area.

    Good location for day trips and kitchen very well equipped. Lovely decor throughout.

    The courtyard area was in need of a little tlc (though appreciate the drought conditions caused the dead hanging basket and pots!) and was smaller than expected.
