Meh. We visited four places in Croatia — and this one takes the crown for the absolute worst.
We had a great time here overall. The area is lovely and peaceful, with a beautiful promenade nearby. It’s just a 10–15 minute taxi ride to Dubrovnik’s Old Town. The sea is amazing — especially if you know the good spots for swimming. The Croatian people are incredibly kind, attentive, and full of good energy. Dubrovnik is without a doubt the crown jewel of Croatia. The host was a bit too intrusive for our taste, but that didn’t spoil our stay. Thank you for the experience!
Mixed experience. The hotel building is located quite high up, and climbing back 4–6 times a day was exhausting — even for someone who’s pretty athletic. The room was very basic and felt a bit poor. The kitchenware was in bad condition and overall the place didn’t feel cozy or comfortable — though this might be a subjective impression. It’s a very minimal, budget-level accommodation. Buying fresh seafood near the sea turned out to be completely unrealistic — honestly, that felt absurd. There is parking near the building, but it’s not convenient to use the car once it’s parked. In short: Dubrovnik — yes, definitely. Would I return to this place — no. The rest is up to you to decide. Unfortunately, the host turned out to be quite rude in the end.

Nous avons été très bien accueillis par notre hôte qui nous a donné de nombreux conseils pour passer un bon séjour. Chambre placée à proximité de la plage, des restaurants et de l'arrêt de bus. Nous recommandons !

Sehr gute Lage, nur ein paar Minuten bis zum Strand und der Promenade von Lapad mit vielen Restaurants, zum Supermarkt sowie zur Bushaltestelle. Der Bus fährt alle 10 - 15 Minuten zur Altstadt und braucht für die Strecke ca. 10 Minuten. Absolut ruhig gelegen. Die Terrasse ist durch viel Grün schön beschattet. Dadurch ist es dort nie zu heiß. Sehr freundlicher, hilfsbereiter Gastgeber, der auch viele Tipps gibt, im Haus wohnt und ansprechbar ist. Sehr sauber und praktisch eingerichtet. Im Apartment ist ein Kühlschrank und ein Wasserkocher, Mahlzeiten können nicht zubereitet werden. Nur kroatische Fernsehsender. Ich hatte das Apartment für mich alleine und gut Platz, zu zweit muss man sich vielleicht ein bisschen arrangieren.
