Good location Main bedroom a good size and nicely done
Upstairs bedroom - the stairs leading up were quite dangerous, there was a gap at the top between the stairs and the landing so if a sleepy child walked down the stairs and misjudge there was a risk of them falling. House very traditional which is great but also quite dated, kitchen stuff just didn't feel clean and had a musty smell. Outdoor garden nice to have but again felt.like needed some TLC. No kitchen welcome pack at all which is quite rare these days!

Overpriced with appalling customer service
The property is centrally located in a quiet area of Cascais. The property is easily accessed using a key in a key lock-box beside the front door of the property. The front door opens into a dimly-lit living room area with two sofas. Also downstairs is a well-equipped kitchen with a doorway onto (what appears to be) a spacious backyard. The door was locked so there was no access available to the yard. There are two bedrooms in the property. The downstairs bedroom has an en suite bathroom. The upstairs bedroom is accessed by a metal spiral staircase. There is another bathroom upstairs with a shower. The property was clean and there were clean towels and soap provided in the bathrooms. Unfortunately there is no air conditioning in the property. There are fans in the bedrooms which work. The property is not particularly spacious and without access to the back garden, it can become quite hot in summer weather. We stayed for three nights in August.
I tried to obtain an early check-in as we were attending a wedding in Cascais. The normal check in time is 16.00. I messaged the property through their beguest.pt portal (with which you have to register) a number of days in advance to request it. After a few days I received a reply saying an early check in was possible but was ‘subject to cleaning’. I received no further communication. Eventually when I sent a message to ask how I could get access to the property I was simply told that I would be forwarded the details at 16.00 on the day of arrival which I was. So no early check-in was facilitated. While staying at the property, a door handle fell off the kitchen door while it was closed meaning access to the kitchen was impossible. It was attended to (on a Sunday evening). However the owner suggested I had caused damage to the door handle. This conclusion was based on me telling them the door was previously working fine. Therefore it must have been damaged by me, they suggested. The door handle was undamaged and was put back on with no apparent difficulty. I was charged €80 of the €150 deposit for the cost of putting the handle back on following an exchange of messages which were frankly quite unprofessional. I was sent an invoice for the work which was from a company with an address in Brazil . I have stayed in hundreds of hotels and accommodation of various kinds in over 150 countries. I frequently review properties on booking, com. As can be seen from them, the vast majority of my reviews are positive. However, I have rarely received such shoddy treatment at the hands of a property owner. This is an expensive property at over €300 per night. The property is generally fine but somewhat underwhelming given the price. The customer service is atrocious and a deposit was improperly partially withheld from me. No doubt the owner will put up a reply to this review to which I cannot reply in turn. However I emphatically stand over everything I have written.

3 adult siblings on 9-day visit to Cascais
Excellent location.
Convoluted emails re check in. Security deposit demanded after full payment. Incorrect payment recorded. No personal contact or communication with anonymous owners/managers. Refusal to provide requested bed linen, so had to buy our own in the resort. Policy of changing linens only after 15 days! Washing machine blew the fuses and was not repaired. Cold apartment with inadequate functioning heaters. Complete absence of kitchen & bathroom basics...condiments, detergents etc Extremely steep spiral staircase to second bedroom. Very unhelpful attitude of managers

Wonderful stay in Cascais — great location, cozy apartment and very helpful hosts. We would definitely stay here again!
Excellent location in the center of Cascais, close to the beach, restaurants and shops. The apartment was very clean, comfortable and cozy, with a nice authentic Portuguese atmosphere. Easy check-in and very friendly communication with the hosts. We really enjoyed our stay.
Nothing serious. Everything was good and matched the description. Maybe a little noise from the street in the evening, but this is normal for such a central location.
