    What a little gem!

    Cutest cottage on a lovely family vineyard with beautiful views from the stoep. Cozy and well equipped, loved the fireplace and the outdoor area and the big, comfy bed. Mel gave us a warm welcome and a great wine tasting recommendation (Paul Wallace wines). Absolutely recommended!

    Cosy midwinter stay

    Perfect spot for a little midwinter break after a rough work period! We stayed in the cosy Stables cottage which has a lovely woodburning stove inside and a nice view over the vineyards, especially first thing in the morning as the sun comes in the bedroom window. Mel, the host, is super warm and helpful and we felt very welcomed.

    My partner likes her showers the temperature of lava, so she found the gas-heated shower a bit on the cold side... but it should be fine for most people :)

    Fantastic stay, really enjoyed our time here.

    Mel was a wonderful, helpful and gracious host. The Stables cottage is small, but cosy. The outdoor patio area was wonderful for braai's and chilling out. Electric blanket was a treat in the evenings.

    Not having hot water in the hand basin (near the bathroom) and toggling with the water to get the right temperature in shower/kitchen.
