If you're looking for great food, an amazing view and a luxury poolside area, stay here!
We really loved so much about this hotel - the staff were great, especially Jadda who was really friendly and made us the most lovely welcome cocktail on arrival. Our room had a good sized balcony overlooking the lake and mountains - the view was really stunning. The breakfasts were first class and real thought had obviously gone into them - in fact the food in general was excellent - we tried both the brasserie and the bar snacks but not the Michelin starred restaurant - a really special mention must be made of the anchovy pinsa (one of the bar snacks)- it was so delicious we can't stop thinking about it. The pool area, outside terraces and beach area were all really beautiful and meant that, even though there were quite a few people staying in the hotel, you could always find the perfect spot to sit. The main path around the lake is right by the hotel and meant that you could walk north or south along the lake. This hotel has a really nice family run feel and the fact that so many people bring their (immaculately behaved) dogs only added to that. It really is hard to fault.
This hotel was absolutely perfect for us because we wanted somewhere really relaxing for a few days however, if we'd been staying on Lake Garda for a longer time, we might have wanted to spend 4/5 days here just wallowing in luxury and then move to a slightly livelier area with a local market etc eg Torri del Benaco. There are restaurants etc within walking distance in both directions - we went to two of them on the south side, the first was lovely, the second wasn't quite as good but neither were as lovely as our hotel. We're already planning a return visit.

Wunderbar
Wir (Paar+Hund) hatten einen wunderbaren Urlaub. Das Hotel ist sauber, komfortabel und hält was es verspricht. Unser Hund durfte überall mithin, total entspannt. Als das Restaurant bei Gewitter keinen Platz für uns hatte, wurden wir mit einem alten Fiat 500 in den nächsten Ort gefahren, mit der Option auch wieder abgeholt zu werden. Mehr Service geht nicht. Mein Dank nochmals an diesen Mitarbeiter. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
