Perfect
The kind of beautiful castle stay you dream of in Ireland. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. We were lucky enough to get a private tour of the castle after dinner. Wandering freely in the castle and relaxing with a drink in the great hall makes you feel like royalty.

Would have loved to have stayed for two nights!
The castle was a wonderful place to stay with an old world charm! The food in the Library Restaurant was superb, along with the service!
That the stay was too short!

High expectations but did not deliver, currently staying at another hotel half the price which I do believe four stars.
The historic aspect and how it was related to the armada was lovely. The grounds were nice to walk around. The cafe was fantastic, with excellent staff who couldn’t do enough. The bedroom was comfortable.
Afternoon tea was NOT value for money, it was a different menu to what was booked online. The staff were not present as what they should have been. Husband was directed to sit on a broken chair , thankfully we noticed as the staff meme er didn’t. The room where you had afternoon tea smelt of foist. Bedroom 3 - the room was nice, however the bathroom was a real let down. Bath was probably a hygiene issue, needs complete revamp. Musty smell in room and over powering smell from fire downstairs .
