Lovely B&B, but had minor issues...
Location, staff & breakfast was just ok...
Room 9, no appeal, too small, TV didn't work, shower stall collected old water puddles in corner of shower pan & lots of stairs for seniors..

Great stay, charming stay - just don’t opt for a basement room if possible!
Really friendly Staff, Graham & Elijah were really friendly. Loved the breakfast, champagne and cookies. The shower was great. Location was okay and was within walking distance of everything.
When we first arrived, we initially had some confusion between us and other guests on the allocated rooms. This was swiftly corrected by the staff and given a complimentary bottle of wine as a good gesture which was lovely. We had a basement room which was incredibly hot. There is a fixed air con unit however it is dormant and doesn’t work. Another air con unit is plumbed through the window however it is incredibly noisy and difficult to sleep with which in turn makes the room warm if not turned on…so you have to pick the lesser of two evils, noise or warmth! It was a very dark room with little natural lighting & when the blinds were raised, the window ledges were dirty with flaky wood from the window sills and a weed plant growing over the glass. Not a big issue but got rid of the premium/luxury feeling. As it was a basement room under the kitchen area, foot steps can be heard as staff get ready for breakfast which again disturbs the quality of sleep.
