    Fantastic family holiday!

    The location and view are amazing. We enjoyed walks, kayaking, drives and some amazing food in nearby cafes / restaurants. The house was fantastic for a large family get-together- spacious, and well equipped. Lovely log fire on an evening.

    Eine einmalig schöne und ruhige Alleinlage direkt am Loch Torridon. Bei Flut kommt das Wasser direkt an die Gartenmauer. Man hört nur den Bach nebenan. Schöne Spielwiese für die Kinder. Das Haus sehr groß mit Wohnzimmer, Veranda u. extra Speisezimmer trotz Tisch für 8 in der Küche.

    Der Einkauf erfordert vorherige Planung, da extrem weite Autofahrten. Das Cafe im Ort hat guten Kuchen, aber nur wenige Grundnahrungsmittel.

    Fantastic view but tired home

    Views were amazing....

    Aspects of the property could have been more welcoming & comfortable & clean to be honest. To clarify.....the garden side of things although large & grass was cut...the weeds around the property gave the impression of neglect. Sitting out on the garden furniture the weeds growing up between the slabs were up to our ankles & at points our knees. Long grass that had not been strimmed around garden bushes & perimeter wall gave an untidy unkempt feel. The kitchen was a good size & plenty of dishes & cutlery & utensils. However we had to wash the baking trays before use as they were greasy feeling & looked about 20 years old. The oven itself could have been better cleaned. As for the rest of the property although spacious and relatively clean...attention to detail was lacking. The bedding felt past its best in the sense of pillows had not one bit of bounce....very flat which made them feel that they should be replaced. Dust in some corners throughout the house & some cobwebs higher up on the walls in some rooms. The bedding felt like a cheaper polyester/cotton blend rather than all cotton. Towels were good & thick.
