    Wish I could have stayed longer…

    Nestled in a serene and picturesque corner of the Drakensberg, Berg Treat offers a perfect base for exploring this stunning region. The house itself is a beautiful and comfortable retreat, while Shelley, the fantastic host, ensures a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

    Two nights was definitely too short to fully enjoy the lodge and the Drakensberg.

    What a wonderful experience! The house is beautifully situated in the private estate, which is wonderfully laid out, and full of indigenous plants and wildlife. The house is equipped very well, and the beds and bedding are comfortable The front terrace is the perfect place to watch those wonderful Berg sunsets! We were grateful to Shelley for being a great host.
