Lovely all around! Would definitely stay there again!
Beautiful classic Julia Morgan-designed building, very elegant. Close to campus although requiring much uphill walking. The staff was wonderful, service was excellent.
Grab bars in the shower would have been really helpful, and the toilet paper needs a serious upgrade.

Good location, smallest room I've ever stayed in yet price was over $ 500 all in. Won't be back.

Great place to stay for a Cal football game. The higher rates were just a common “market will bear” thing.
The architecture and furnishings were so cozy and nice.
Hot water in our room could have arrived a bit sooner for the shower, and wasn’t quite hot enough in the late morning, perhaps just a use vs. capacity issue?

A fascinating hotel with so much history.
Beautiful hotel with so many interesting rooms to explore, and gardens to stubble upon. It was as if we were staying in a museum. The breakfast buffet was good. The staff were friendly and helpful. Great location.
Parking was expensive, and limited.
