The perfect spot to stay whilst exploring the backwaters of Kerala.
Our hostess, Lisa, was extremely welcoming and helpful with advice about things to do in the area. She will also help with bookings for boat tours. Lisa is an exceptional cook and all meals were delicious. The house is a calm and beautiful location to stay right beside the river as its name suggests!

Lovely time in nature
The property is situated right next to the river and there are many nice spots to relax. The interior is lovely and the big donning table, sofas and arm chairs in the drawing room are inviting a sense of community. Lisa is a very welcoming and warm host and did everything to make our stay enjoyable and memorable. She booked boat trips for us and spoiled us with her excellent cooking. Thank you, Lisa!
