Location, and clean and tidy.
Room noisy due to being outside the side entrance and the door banged when people came in at night.

no Managerial Staff available for Busy Holiday weekend leaving new employees to handle issues.
hotel was clean and close to the train station which was the main reason we stayed there.
booked thru Booking.com and all was good until we arrived a day early and called the hotel to see if we could book the 2 rooms for another night early. The gentleman on the phone said no problem and would see us later that evening. when we arrived, the other gentleman at the desk said my card had insufficient funds and the second room would need to be paid in full for the 3 days. I knew this was incorrect because I already had my confirmation from booking..com that it was covered. I tried to explain that we only needed to pay for the one night for both rooms. He proceeded to debit the amount from my co-travelers of over $700. When we further inquired about this he said he canceled all the charges and we would need to discuss this with his manager the next day. this was a holiday weekend and guess what, Manager was nowhere to be found. No one to discuss with. It is very difficult to enjoy yourself when there is no resolution to a very huge problem and to have my family feel I don't have enough money to cover the rooms. It made me feel sick to my stomach. When the Manager did finally show up after the long holiday weekend, she told us that the person was new that check us in and he canceled the Booking.Com charge and when tried to rebook it, it was denied due to insufficient funds because they already paid for the rooms. She told us she was trying to fix the system, but was never able to. Her attention to our concern felt like she didn't care and she was trying to shoo us out of the lobby. She did tell us she would work on this for the next half hour and then she was going home. I feel this was a HUGE issue with no management available on a very BUSY Long Holiday Weekend to be able to help a new employee and they are the ones who should be held Soley responsible for the entire mishandling of registration and training of new employees. I do not blame any of the employees who actually had to endure this issue along with myself, my husband and family.
