    Hotel staff great. Room clean. All good. Booking.com Bad.

    This Best Western was very nice. The lady at front desk listened to my problem, checked reservations list, saw that there was an Unconfirmed Reservation in my name so she took my payment and all was good. Very nice lady. Late adternoon, Monday 19 October, 2026

    My original reservation charge thru Booking.com on my Debit Card was blocked by my Credit Union (Service Federal CU) due to some form of fraud that the fraud dept could not explain. Either Booking or Best Western were on a list of some nature. I contacted the hotel to see if they had a room available. They did, I took it, and paid for it with the same Debit Card. No problems. Today, in my bank check register, I see the charge from Best Western for $137.65, plus two others from Booking.com and BKG*Hotel for $138.03 each. Booking.com wants to see records, invoices, etc before they do anything. I add this statement to any review I do that involves Booking.com.

    Room was spacious, clean and quiet. Bed was very comfortable.

    Breakfast was less than par. Just a suggestion - add more towels racks in the bathroom.
