    The house is absolutely stunning and has such a beautiful soul — it truly felt special to stay there. We are so grateful for hospitality, which made our visit even more memorable.

    Fijn huis!

    Wat een fijn, licht huis. Er is veel ruimte in en om het huis. Het is rustig gelegen in een dorp, doch goed bereikbaar. Het uitzicht op een akker, de hardwerkende boeren en de rondscharrelende kippen & haan van de buren, completeren het landelijke gevoel. De zee (Saltholmen) is op 30 min wandelen (of 4 min met de auto) verwijderd. Daar is een prachtige baai waar je veilig kan zwemmen. Fredrikstad ligt op 15 (auto)minuten en is een mooie (oude) stad om te bekijken. Neem vooral daar de handige, gratis (Hop on-Hop off) ferry! Zo leuk om te doen! De host is ontzettend vriendelijk en gastvrij. Ze is altijd bereid om je bij te staan in daad en raad. Heel prettig! Het huis is zeer compleet qua inrichting. In alles is voorzien! En de opgemaakte bedden bij aankomst, was een prettige verrassing! Wij komen graag nog eens terug!

    Er zijn gratis fietsen bij het huis, maar verheug je niet op een dagje fietsen om de omgeving te verkennen. De conditie van de fietsen is daarvoor niet toereikend. Maar een korte boodschap, is op een kleine selectie van de fietsen, wel te doen. De schommel van de foto's was niet meer aanwezig. Maar dat wordt (wat ons betreft) gecompenseerd door de aanwezigheid van (bord)spelletjes.

    Mooi huis, het leeft gewoon. Mooie combi van herinnering en modern

    Heel leuk, die combinatie van modern en grootmoeders tijd Niet voor niets Bestemors hus! Heel vriendelijke gastvrouw een perfecte uitvalsbasis voor een bezoekje aan Oslo en om even naar Zweden te rijden.

    Wat weinig stopcontacten. En ik miste een nachtkastje of plankje naast het bed. Maar dat zijn kleinigheden.

    Although we didn't meet with Elise she was really helpful and kind to us. She managed to gather extra bikes so we could have a nice a bike trip around the area.
