    Lovely peaceful spot

    The whole place is a very peaceful retreat. The communication from George was excellent throughout - he responded very quickly to all of our messages. The swimming pool is absolutely lovely - and the jacuzzi is nice (although note that it is not hot, like a hot tub, which is fine in the summer!). The apartment is spacious and cool with air-con throughout. The first floor room (with the balcony) is large, although note that it is a studio arrangement for that room, so is at the top of stairs (and you walk through it to get to the other upstairs room). You get a nice view of the sea from the first floor balcony. The other three bedrooms (two doubles and a twin) are separate and there is a door at the bottom of the stairs. You can walk to two lovely local beaches (in either direction) within 5 minutes and both were small peaceful places, largely used by locals (which we prefer). The sea water is a lovely temperature with many locals turning up at the beaches at the end of the day for a swim. Parking can sometimes be busy near beaches, but it was fine where we went. There were good small supermarkets around, as well as a large Lidl 20 minutes away. It was helpful having a washing machine (with liquid provided). It was a great place to be able to rest up.

    Overall, it was a lovely holiday, but there are a few things that could have been a bit better. The bedding was quite basic (the duvets quite thin and short in length). The Wi-Fi only worked off and on. The instructions were fairly brief and only in German. The jacuzzi cleaner said we had got "oil" in the jacuzzi and we think(?) he meant that we had used it while we had sun-tan cream on. We were careful afterwards about washing down before we used it, but we hadn't realised that was required, as there were not any instructions about it. The house didn't have some of the nice little touches that many holiday homes have (like a small bit of welcoming food, detailed instructions, a range of toiletries, cosy/additional bedding, or the likes of cards/games). It was still a really nice and peaceful place to be.
