Comfy stay in an old cottage
Location was great, always nice to stay at Daylesford. Facilities were good.
I felt for what it was it was very overpriced. A very tired old place. Comfortable but certainly old. TV needs a soundbar or some type of speaker system. Can barely hear the audio through the tinny TV speakers. Did the job and we had a great time but much better priced places that I've stayed in on other visits to Daylesford.

Overall Rating: 3 / 5 We stayed at Bidwell Cottage for one night (Aug 21–22) for a quick getaway with our dogs, and it kept us warm during a cold, wet stay in Daylesford. Positives: Warm & Cozy: Excellent heating, a lovely log fire, and electric blankets made a huge difference given the weather. Dog-Friendly: Great for bringing pets along; our dogs loved exploring the small garden. Cleanliness: The place was clean throughout. Areas for Improvement: Property Condition: The cottage feels quite tired overall and has a noticeable old-house odour that could use some refreshing.

Cute, welcoming cottage - a perfect getaway retreat
Very comfortable. Cosy and well appointed. Great location- handy to town and close proximity to Lake Daylesford and the Mineral Springs. Excellent walking tracks nearby. Lots of well appreciated extras - books, puzzles, games. The wine and chocolates were an unexpected surprise- thank you.
We appreciated everything about this property.
