    Very cosy stay !

    The breakfast was really good. And the waiting staff were very helpful. The front desk staff were also great ! All in all would highly recommend !

    I wish there was a fridge or an option to pay for that if available .

    As of right now, this seems to me the best place to stay for staging a visit around the Marsabit area. I was in town for

    Nice area just above the center of Marsabit town; good security; good breakfast; great price; big comfortable room and bed; friendly, accommodating employees

    I didn’t have much luck with hot water in the shower. I know that sounds like a big deal, but I was honestly too busy to tell them about it, so for all I know it might have been an easy fix.

    A tranquil very comfortable with great food for the weary traveller

    Big Tusks hotel is one of the nicest hotels in Marsabit with amazing people looking after you. Delicious food and superb coffee makes the stay even more pleasant. The rooms are beautiful. It’s the perfect stop over for anyone travelling. Highly recommended. What I loved most about this hotel was the no disturbance policy between 10pm and 7am. For me sleep is a priority so having an extremely quiet hotel was heavenly. The owner/manager is such a wonderful gentleman with a king Herat and a great smile. Always making sure you’re taken care of.

    The hotel didn’t serve alcohol, which isn’t a bad thing really however after a very long day on a bicycle a beer is what was needed. This was remedied by purchasing some beer outside and enjoying it in the comfort of my room.
