    Highly recommended apartment !

    Very comfortable, spotlessly clean, airconditioned ground floor apartment in a very quiet neighborhood. There is an outdoor seating area behind the apartment in a private little south-facing garden with stunning full frontal views of the Mediterranean. Absolutely great to sit there in the evenings, but do make sure you have your mosquito spray with you. Fully equipped small kitchenette with plenty of just about everything you might possible need, except for a dishwasher (which we didn’t miss at all). Nice and quiet outdoor swimming pool (downside: swimming caps are mandatory). Parking garage with a reserved indoor parking place for your car. The apartment is close enough to Sanremo city center, but do take the car into town though, as the road back up from the sea side boulevard is quite long and steep without pedestrian sidewalks. Matteo is an excellent, very responsive host, always responding immediately on whats-app.

    The interior is very functional and in very good condition (nothing broken or malfunctioning), but the furniture is a bit dated though. The shower is really good, but quite small. The windowless bedroom is also rather small, but did just fit a decently sized bed. The matrass is a bit hard to our liking. There is is no wifi. When I mentioned that to Matteo, he immediately gave us free of charge a 300 GB mobile wifi device, which did have a bit of a mind of its own whether to connect or not, so we mostly reverted to data roaming on our phones.
