The cottage was well situated in the town of Pickering, it was very clean and cosy.
It was well catered for in large kitchen appliances, but lacked smaller appliances which were required.

Lovely little cottage close to centre of Pickering
Cost, warm, close to centre of Pickering Quiet with no noise from neighbours, main road quietens off around 10
Parking close by can be a bit haphazard as on main road. Local car park you can park in overnight is 5 mins walk away.

A lovely comfortable cottage with great amenities in an ideal location
This is a lovely mid terrace cottage which is very well soundproofed and cosy. Our stay was very comfortable and we were impressed by the excellent amenities in the cottage and the easy access to Pickering itself which is only a few minutes walk away. Additionally, Flamingo Land is a very easy 10 minute drive which was perfect for my theme park mad son! I had a query during our stay which meant I had to contact the owners who were very quick to help out and were very friendly and approachable. We had a delightful week here and we can heartily recommend it! (For info: I saw previous reviews which had mentioned problems with the door handle, but I can confirm that it's now working perfectly).
This isn't really a downside to staying at the cottage, but it's worth mentioning for information. Whilst there's no allocated parking, there's a row of free public parking spaces directly opposite the cottage with a high turnaround of cars. There was only one occasion when we had to temporarily park a short walk away ... literally 20 minutes later we were able to park opposite the cottage again.
