    Private accomodation on a quiet winery

    Gorgeous little one room apartment situated on a lovely winery. The staff very friendly and helpful during our stay. We had two nights in July and enjoyed the Waipara Valley wineries - even walking the vineyard track through the vineyards and farms which was a nice experience (bring good footwear and leave the bikes behind!). We stayed mid week and it was very quiet and relaxing. Would recommend for a great little get away.

    Fabulous winery restaurant

    The Restaurant at Black Estate was amazing, the staff member was friendly & polished, awesome service & food. Well worth the expense, especially the wine pairing. Large shower & area to “live” was great, as was view.

    Food in room did then not live up to the high standard set by restaurant. Cheese platter was basic & the bread did not go with the cheese. Lasagne was large & I enjoyed, but spicy for my husband & no cheesy/ bechamal layers so dry. Breakfast supplies seemed old & dried up too. Bed was too soft for our liking, personally.

    Absolutely lovely little room in a vineyard - truly magical to get the whole place to yourself We ordered a bit of food fo the room which was delicious ans breakfast was delicious too Well thought out with microwave oven and places to put dirty dishes (as no kitchen sink etc) All the staff were super lovely
