Nature at its best
We stayed 6 days in this beautiful place surrounded by nature and had wonderful weather on top. We liked the good taste and relaxed style of the apartment, you feel at home at once. Bed is very comfy while soft and firm at the same time, shower very good. As we did not cook, I can not tell too much about kitchen equipment, but the basics where there and also there had been coffee, milk, tea and eggs provided by the owner, Hugo, who is very kind and helpful, communication with him was great at all times. We can surely recommend, although maybe not for families with smaller children because of various stairs.
Only thing that stressed us a little were the last 4 miles on a very narrow street before reaching the house.

A super retreat nestled into the hills - a great balance of activities and lovely peace and quiet.
The annex was spacious, quiet and very well set up. We had everything we needed for a great mix of activities in the hills and relaxing time as well. Because the shower was so great (great water pressure and Faith in Nature supplies) we didn't end up using the sauna. We had fresh eggs to enjoy for lunch and breakfast in the lovely garden, and loads of space around the car to manage packing and unpacking all our bikes and gear. Great wifi meant we could catch up on the biking on our laptop - we didn't need a TV.
The stools at the kitchen bar are a bit too high and uncomfortable, even with the covers on. We stood up to eat instead. Other guests had said the spiral staircase was tricky at night, but this wasn't an issue for us. An optional net curtain could be an idea to have near the bed windows so that you can enjoy your morning cuppa in bed without being seen by people moving around outside.

Gorgeous home-from-home for true down time in stunning surroundings
Amazing service from the start from Hugo. Stunning location and property and a real 'away from it all' destination. Home extremely well provided for with everything a guest could need and more. The view is stunning from whichever direction you look and the owners have really made it feel a home-from-home. Toiletries provided, high quality thick towels, high quality bedding, kitchen well kitted out, books, games, vinyls. The owners thought of nearly everything....!
Whilst it's amazing to get away from it all, we were surprised there was no TV. Whilst I'm happy to read, my husband likes to switch off in the evening over a film or a good drama series. We had our ipad so could catch up on the ample sofa using the efficient wifi provided. For a women of a certain age (!) the need to traverse the iron spiral staircase in the black of night to use the toilet was a bit tricky!

Great place to enjoy and come back to whilst exploring this amazing part of Wales
As described - fantastic quiet location with stunning views, quirky but fun, impressive music system and vinyl record collection. Hugo, the dogs and cat (the hosts 😊) were all friendly, helpful and available.
The track as you get near to the house does get a bit narrow - but is fine to navigate with a bit of care.
