A family home
Great location easy to walk into town. Lots of rooms so the family could be together. One room had a light switch right beside the bed. Lovely outdoor area. A place full of history and high ceilings.
The steps from the sleeping area and living room down to the kitchen are very steep. Getting to some powerpoints in bedrooms were hard for sleep machines. The window to open, when cooking was hard to open and close. the toilet next to kitchen was very narrow because of the sink 😅

Blackwood house was excellent! It was in a great location, an easy walk to the local shops. The house was spacious, we had 9 people who comfortably used all facilities. The kitchen was large and very well equipped with all utensils and crockery. The outdoor area is great for barbecuing and meals. Lucy was flexible with check in and out. We would definitely stay again!
The three single rooms are very small (not a negative but something to be aware of). The house is right on the street so you can hear traffic passing.

We had a wonderful stay, the rooms were very quiet so it was easy to get to sleep whilst others stayed up enjoying them
Beautiful property with plenty of room for all of us.
Just a couple of things were disappointing. The lack of kindling to light the fire, and the very squeaky single bed in one of the rooms. A note to tell us where to find the broom would have also been handy! Another shelf for the oven would also be of benefit.

Great location and excellent accommodation for bigger groups
Great location and everyone gets a room! Central heating and facilities were great.
The TV instructions in the dining are need updating.
