    A nice quiet place but needs some maintenance

    Like the setting in the Truffle Farm

    No cupboards or shelves in bedroom to place clothes. Floor of shower very slippery when soap was on floor. Had to go out and buy a mat. Cold tap in kitchen was extremely hard to turn on. I could not turn it at all. No provision for washing clothes although a large washing machine basket was provided

    A tranquil farmstay with beautiful property views - watching alpacas and sheep from the dining room window.

    The Heritage Cottage had beautiful views of the property. Waking up and having breakfast with alpacas and sheep in view was special. They also provided delicious samples of Tasmanian breakfast supplies and eggs from the chooks. Walking around the property to explore was fun. My stepfather had been here many years before and enjoyed exploring the property. Shane and Yuko welcomed us and provided a quick in of the property. A very peaceful and tranquil location.

    We have a new favourite place to stay when we come to Tasmania

    Everything about this stay. Perfect hosts, the house had so much character, the rural setting, lovely outlook. Comfortable beds, fire and quiet. Great place to switch off. Long list. We will definitely stay here again. We have done six trips to Tasmania over the years. Staying in motels and resorts. This is our favourite place.

    The Truffle Farm House made for a great farm stay experience in Mole Creek.

    Beautiful setting. Well equipped. Great kitchen. Generous supplies. Very comfortable beds, warm bedding. Clean. Spacious.

    It's cold. The fire is good and wood is plentiful but the heat transfer only works for the front bedroom. A heat pump would be nice.
