    Really nice property with easy access to Vancouver.

    Spacious and surprisingly light. Appreciated flexible laundry hours. Large party could enjoy this space by renting both suites.

    A bit echoey. Not sure how sound would carry with someone in the other unit.

    Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt von ein paar Tagen ok, wenn in Sachen Sauberkeit. Ausstattung und Ruhe etwas nachgebessert w

    Wir hatten Apartment Nr. 2, eines von zwei Apartments im Unter-/Kellergeschoss des Hauses. Direkt darüber wohnt der Eigentümer/Vermieter mit seiner Familie. Positiv hervorzuheben sind die sehr gute Lage sowie die gelungene Aufteilung der Wohnung. Die Räume sind praktisch geschnitten und bieten grundsätzlich gute Voraussetzungen für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt.

    Das Haus ist allerdings leider sehr hellhörig. Im Apartment hört man praktisch jeden Schritt aus der darüberliegenden Wohnung. Abends wurde zudem bis etwa 21:00/21:30 Uhr sehr laut Musik gespielt, die nicht nur bei uns, sondern offenbar auch in der Nachbarschaft deutlich zu hören war. Die Fenster liegen unter Lichtschächten, was die Belüftung und Belichtung etwas schwierig macht. Das Inventar ist teilweise deutlich in die Jahre gekommen. Die Pfannen waren beispielsweise stark abgenutzt, und die Bettwäsche hatte Löcher. Bei der Sauberkeit besteht ebenfalls Verbesserungsbedarf. Zunächst hatten wir verschmutzte Bettwäsche und eine verschmutzte Badematte. Beides wurde auf Nachfrage ausgetauscht, allerdings waren auch die neuen Sachen leider nicht wirklich sauber. Die Fenster hätten ebenfalls eine Reinigung nötig gehabt. Besonders unangenehm war, dass an den Messern aus dem Messerblock noch Essensreste von vorherigen Gästen hafteten. Insgesamt hat die Wohnung mit ihrer guten Lage und Aufteilung durchaus Potenzial. Bei Sauberkeit, Ausstattung und Ruhe würden wir uns jedoch deutlich mehr Sorgfalt wünschen.
