  Terribile

  An experience that was nothing short of terrible. I have been travelling for years, but this was the worst experience of my life. First of all, there is no property called Blue Pulse. In fact, it was extremely difficult to reach because there are no signs of any kind bearing this name, not even on Maps, and you also have to drive along winding, uphill and extremely narrow roads. Once you arrive, random paid services are added, depending on how much they like you: charges for parking, air conditioning, unexpected tourist taxes and a security deposit ranging from €50 to €200 (without ever explaining what determines the amount). This money must be paid strictly in cash, and, of course, no receipt is provided. The deposit-refund procedure is equally suspicious: the money is supposedly sent via PayPal seven days after the end of the stay. Small spoiler: the money is not refunded unless you first make a phone call (one of the thousand calls they actually answer), during which they threaten you by saying that, in order to get your money back, you must leave a positive review, as other guests who stayed at this property have also reported in the comments. We booked a Deluxe studio apartment. We were given a room that did not remotely match the photos shown on the website, as demonstrated by the photos I have attached. The room was outdated. The entrance door could not be locked because the lock was faulty, and we spent the entire night afraid that someone might come in. The bathroom was dirty and dated, with a bathtub and a curtain that was neither hygienic nor functional: every shower flooded the entire room. Two-thirds of the power sockets did not work, so I had to charge my phone by the entrance. At five in the morning, we would wake up because the bed was positioned directly beneath a window covered by a curtain that did not block out even a ray of sunlight.

  Since we arrived late in the evening, we had to wait until the following day to complain, as the caretaker could not explain anything and the owners would not answer our calls. The next day, after considerable persistence on our part—while the man at reception kept trying to convince us that we were lucky to have been given their best room—they led us to believe that they would move us to another room. We explained that we would be returning in the evening because we had a day trip planned, and he assured us that this would not be a problem. However, when we returned, no room change had been arranged, and the caretaker had not been informed. And guess what? We called the owner, but he did not answer. We contacted Booking.com for assistance. The following morning, on the day of check-out, the man at reception apologised and had us sign a document stating that they would refund the full booking amount, together with the security deposit, via PayPal after seven days. The result? We have not received a single euro. We explained the situation to Booking.com, but they could not help us because we had paid in cash and had no receipt. After countless complaints, the owner told us that he would return our security deposit on 15 January 2027—a full four months after our check-out—simply because he wanted the deadline for leaving a review to expire. They will undoubtedly respond to this review by claiming that the security deposit was actually a parking fee, that we received a room upgrade, or that we were unavailable when they tried to move us to another room. These are all lies. They are liars and scammers. Do not book here unless you want your stay to turn into a nightmare
