  5/5 Stars – A Fantastic Family Stay! We had a wonderful stay at Blueberry Cottage on the Lower Mill Estate celebrating a double milestone—my daughter’s 2nd birthday and my mum’s 70th! The property is a beautifully furnished, exceptionally well-presented three-story home with amazing views over the Clearwater Lake pond. A massive highlight for the kids was greeting the ducks right outside every morning! The House & Tech: All bedrooms are fantastic sizes, bathrooms were spotless, and it’s one of the best-equipped kitchens we’ve ever stayed in. While multi-level homes get warm in humid weather, the hosts thoughtfully provided multiple fans in every room. The Wi-Fi was exceptional, easily handling multiple devices streaming at once, and the TV came set up with Freeview, Netflix, and YouTube. Family essentials like a high chair and books were also a lovely touch. Estate Activities & Booking: There’s so much to do on-site—we hired bikes and spent time out on the water in family canoes. The soft play was a massive hit; we booked a 6 PM evening session and had the entire space to ourselves! Contrary to some negative reviews about booking pool sessions and activities being fiddly, we found it straightforward—it opens 24 hours prior and takes just a few seconds. Equipment hire and on-site dining are on the premium side, but fully expected for such beautifully maintained grounds. Location Tip: Lower Mill Estate is a scenic spot in the Cotswolds with great local options like Tesco, Aldi, and delivery options nearby. (Heads-up for future guests: mobile signal/5G on the estate can be weak, but with top-notch Wi-Fi indoors and great scenery outdoors, it wasn't a problem for us!) A huge thank you to Tim and Rosane for being fantastic, responsive hosts who provided great local tips and support throughout. We’ll definitely be booking again

  80th birthday family celebration

  Site, location and facilities were excellent. House is very well equipped. Communication was excellent.

  Wifi wasn't great. Ok on middle floor not so good elsewhere. On a busy weekend the swimming pool and tennis courts need to be booked the day before which can be difficult if you are off doing other things. Would help if they could be booked prior to arrival.
