    Enjoyable, comfortable stay.

    The guesthouse was clean throughout. Staff very helpful and polite. Excellent information about places to visit and eat in Porto, not just the well known places. Excellent breakfasts with a range of food choices.

    Disappointing.

    We were given very good recommendations by Artur! Fruit salad and tomatoes at breakfast were great.

    Second rate customer service and our bathroom was falling apart: water leaked from a hole in the ceiling,which soaked the towels; the floor tiles were loose; floor tiles were broken; the toilet is placed right in the front of the shower entrance so you had to step over the toilet bowl on your way in and out of the shower; dirty and missing bathroom sealant; filler in wall slapped into hole in plaster; damaged rusty toilet bin, bathroom cabinet was old. When we spoke to a staff member (only available view WhatsApp) we were told 🤷 "there's nothing we can do about it"! The mattress was also so old you could see two body-indentations in it. The air con barely worked. We also cannot understand why the breakfast here gets such glowing reviews; the cold meats were low quality and the fried eggs cold.
