    Lovely open plan property with lake view on the Middleton Hall estate. Really peaceful countryside surroundings. Great location for exploring Northumberland coastline and hills. The property was really clean, comfortable and well equipped and a really nice space to spend time in enjoying the view of the water and trees around it. Note that probably due to the drought we have had this summer, the water level in the lake was rather low so it wasn't quite the full lake view we were expecting but hopefully the water levels will return to normal soon. It was still a lovely place to stay.

    Beautiful place to stay

    The location was good for the areas we wanted to visit e.g. Bamburgh, Holy Island, Seahorses for the trip to Farne Islands. An easy walk into Belford for drinks and food.The wildlife around the lodge was lovely especially the variety of birds.

    Perfect Christmas home from home.

    The location is beautiful. So serene and peaceful. Felt at home as soon as I walked in. The layout is perfect. Kitchen is lovely to work in. Watching the ducks and swan on the lake was very relaxing.

    Nothing to dislike. This will be our 3rd stay.
