    Good but not up to the label of ‘fabulous’

    Location was fantastic. The host quick to respond to give helpful advice, some of which could be better in a welcome information sheet. The apartment was lovely but let down by poor natural light. I guess a true Rome experience vs. the bright photos that were advertised.

    Much darker than the photos which was very disappointing. No daylight in the lounge kitchen area and workspace cramped. First floor level which looked onto the bins. Mould in one of the bathrooms, I understand this is a common Rome issue due to no bathroom window, however it should be addressed proactively. The booking.com location photos are from two apartments, 1 / 2 BR. Suggest reviewing when you select the apartment options.

    Family stay

    Location of apartment was excellent. Communication for arrival was very good. Apartment is an older place but has some antique furniture and art work which is a little different and nice Area felt safe and size of apartment was good for 3 of us . Washing machine also was great to have within the apartment.

    Our shower in the main bedroom kept flooding in did let owner know and he said he would get plumber out but we were there for 4 nights and no one came to fix it. So having showers was a problem. Both hair-dryers weren't working also communicated this but nothing was done about that. This part was a bit disappointing about our stay when you are paying good money for an apartment and staying 4 nights a working shower and hair-dryer would have been great. Would I stay again probably not only for the reason that nothing was done after letting them know and there's plenty places to stay in rome .

    A great apartment to explore Rome from!

    Excellent location, we walked to all the sites. Good kitchen/dining room area for us to eat together.
