Pleasant. Not worth the money
Perfect Location to visit most attractions in Kyoto.
The cleaning is quite bad. The sofa had so many stains that we didn’t even feel to put our luggage on it. The carpet was also full of stain and not cleaned. We found crumbs on it. On the nightstand there was a sticky stain as well as on the light switch of the bathroom. We kindly asked to clean it again while we were out and it was not done. They tried but it was clear they didn’t manage to get it cleaned so they just left it like it is. There is no daily cleaning; if the trash is full you have to put it out of the door as well as your dirty towels (if you want to get them replaced with new ones). WiFi was also not stable in the room and was not working perfectly. In three nights we were there, there were always different people at the front desk and many of them couldn’t speak English. We asked if we could open the window as the air was very stuffy too but the lady told us it was not possible. I asked again the next day to another employee and apparently it was possible, they just have to give you the window handle. If you don’t understand or you don’t know the client request you can also communicate with the phone translator.
