Nice and orderly, but a bit impersonal
It's a clean and fair accommodation with excellent location in the Jimbocho 'book town' in central Tokyo, just a few steps from a metro station which made it easy to go around from here. The hotel is nicely designed and as credit to its name, it has books all over the place - in the lobby, in the hallways, in the room. That it is very orderly is probably the best description. We also liked the beds and pillows were nicely soft, and facilities were in good condition.
Though the hotel is designed in a specific style, it somehow still felt somewhat impersonal to me. The staff also clearly struggles with English which can be a cause of some miscommunication. Early check-in and later check-out are for a fee. That aside, I guess the biggest downside of the place is that they won't hold your luggage after check-out, or not beyond noon of the check-out day anyways. So if your flight is only in the evening, you'll need to find/arrange a different scheme to keep it until your departure.

Nice location, beautiful rooms! Staff was so accommodating and I really appreciate the pre check in luggage storage!
No complaints. I am sad we had to leave so early in the morning to get to the airport!

Quirky concept, very comfortable, good execution
Quirky concept, good sized room, very comfortable beds and quiet for the area
Check in all a bit soulless as is done remotely so limited interaction with staff.
