    Exceptional stay

    Really delightful place. They thought of everything. It's quiet, but only one block off the main street with all the shops and restaurants. Very clean. Excellent breakfast with a variety of self-service continental items as well as made-to-order eggs, omelettes, etc. Honesty bar in lobby, coffee in lobby as well as in room. We'd have spent more nights here if we'd known how much we'd enjoy it.

    Honestly, I'm typically pretty critical, but I can't think of anything I didn't like. My only very minor suggestion would be that if they had a diffuser attachment for the hairdryer, that would be great.

    A happy four nights in a beautiful hotel with the best staff you can imagine

    The staff could not be more welcoming, friendly or helpful. We felt at home from the first moment and we're treated beautifully by everyone at the hotel. The hotel itself is an absolute gem - a fabulous old building that has been modernised sensitively and to a high standard. The pool was lovely and the breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend
